Episode 2. Bait and Trigger

The U.S. government has identified Dante as a national threat due to the powerful amulet he carries—an artifact tied to ancient demonic technology. To retrieve it, they organize a covert mercenary strike under the Vice President's order, with a bounty placed on Dante's head. Meanwhile, Enzo, under pressure, leads Dante into a trap without knowing the full scope of the plan. Dante easily defeats his attackers, demonstrating superhuman abilities that spark suspicion. A new operant named Anders joins Lt. Mary's demon-hunting task force, revealing deeper levels of the anti-demon agenda. Mary later confronts Dante, fires an anti-demon round into him, and confirms he is a hybrid—part demon, part human. Dante remains unaware of the full importance of the amulet, but is determined to protect it, as it was a final gift from his mother. Amid chaos and betrayal, it's revealed that the amulet is one half of a quantum seal tied to the legendary demon knight Sparda—a device that maintains the barrier between hell and Earth. As both factions close in, Dante becomes a critical piece in a looming interdimensional war.
